Premium Solar Panel Installation NSW — Trina Solar & AIKO Neostar, Installed Right

Not all solar panel installations are equal. The panel brand matters. The inverter matters. The workmanship matters. And the qualifications and experience of the people installing it matter more than anything else. At ECR, we've spent over 10 years perfecting every one of those variables — because your solar system is a 25-year asset and it deserves to be treated like one.

Our Primary Panel

Trina Solar Vertex Series

Trina Solar is one of the world's largest and most respected solar manufacturers — a Tier-1 rated producer that has shipped over 200GW of solar panels globally. Their Vertex S+ and Vertex N series represent the current pinnacle of mainstream solar panel technology: high efficiency, outstanding durability and a 25-year product warranty plus 30-year performance guarantee backed by one of the most financially robust companies in the solar industry.

We chose Trina as our primary panel brand after over a decade of field experience across dozens of brands. The performance data, the warranty-claims experience and the real-world durability in Australian coastal, high-UV and high-temperature environments consistently puts Trina at the top.

Vertex S+ & Vertex N — Key Specs

  • Module efficiency: up to 22.5%
  • Power output: 420W–440W per panel
  • 25-year product warranty + 30-year linear performance guarantee (≥88.85% at year 30)

The Premium Choice

AIKO Neostar A500

For properties where maximum power output from minimum roof space is the priority — whether due to shading constraints, architectural roof design, or the desire for absolute best-in-class performance — the AIKO Neostar A500 stands in a category of its own.

AIKO's patented ABC (All Back Contact) cell technology moves every electrical contact to the rear of the cell, removing the front-side busbars that shade conventional panels. The result is a panel that delivers higher real-world output, exceptional partial-shading performance and a class-leading module efficiency of up to 25.0% — backed by a 30-year linear performance warranty.

AIKO Neostar A500 — Key Specs

  • Module efficiency: up to 25.0% — among the highest available anywhere
  • Power output: 500W per panel (N-type ABC cells, 108-cell)
  • 30-year linear performance warranty + 15-year product warranty
  • ABC All Back Contact tech — no front busbars, superior shade tolerance
  • Rated for −40°C to +85°C operating range

Solar STC Rebate

A federal discount applied straight to your invoice

NSW homeowners and businesses receive an immediate point-of-sale discount through the federal Small-scale Technology Certificates (STC) scheme. In 2026 a 6.6kW system attracts roughly $1,700–$1,850 off, and a 13.2kW system around $3,400–$3,650 — calculated on your system size, postcode zone and the years remaining in the scheme, then applied directly by ECR to your quote. The scheme steps down by roughly 4–5% each year and ends on 31 December 2030, so installing sooner captures a larger rebate.

What NSW Homeowners Say

Real Systems, Real Results

★★★★★

"Our 10kW Trina Vertex system has been running 20 months. Bills went from $600 per quarter to under $80. ECR's production modelling was accurate to within 3% — these aren't salespeople, they're engineers who happen to be electricians. Recommended to four neighbours. All used ECR."

— Amanda F., Port Stephens, NSW
★★★★★

"I specifically wanted the AIKO Neostar panels for the efficiency and the all-black look. Nic explained every option clearly, never pushed us toward the more expensive choice, and the installation on our difficult north-east facing roof was exceptional. The all-black panels look incredible."

Solar Panel FAQs

Your Questions, Answered

ECR installs Trina Solar Vertex series and AIKO Neostar A500 panels — both globally recognised Tier-1 manufacturers. Trina Solar is our primary panel for most residential and commercial installations, offering up to 22.5% efficiency with a 25-year product and 30-year performance warranty. The AIKO Neostar A500 is our premium option, with up to 25.0% efficiency, N-type ABC cell technology and a 30-year performance warranty — ideal for properties with shading challenges, limited roof space or premium aesthetic requirements.

A typical residential installation takes 1–2 days. Larger commercial systems may take 2–5 days depending on system size and site access. ECR manages all pre-installation network approvals and grid connection applications — usually taking 2–6 weeks prior to installation day, depending on your distribution network operator.

Yes. Luke and Nic are both CEC-accredited installers and licensed electrical contractors. CEC accreditation is a mandatory requirement to access government solar rebates, and it ensures your installation meets Australian Standards. As licensed electricians, ECR also completes all switchboard work and electrical sign-off in-house.

The Trina Vertex S+ comes with a 25-year product warranty (covering manufacturing defects and materials) plus a 30-year linear performance guarantee. Output is warranted to stay above 88.85% of nominal power at the end of the period, with first-year degradation capped at 1% and roughly 0.4% per year thereafter. ECR lodges and manages any Trina warranty claim on your behalf — you deal with us, not an overseas manufacturer.

The AIKO Neostar A500 carries a 15-year product warranty (manufacturing defects and materials) and a 30-year linear performance warranty, with end-of-life output guaranteed at approximately 88.85% of nominal power. On top of both panel warranties, every ECR installation includes our own 10-year workmanship warranty — and as with all brands we install, ECR manages the entire warranty claim process for you directly.

ECR does — for every component we install. Whether it's a panel, inverter, mounting or workmanship issue, you call us on 0415 870 701 and we manage the entire claim with the manufacturer from start to finish, including any product replacement and the electrical work to fit it. You never have to chase an overseas supplier or a call centre. This is backed by ECR's own 10-year workmanship warranty on every installation.

North-facing is optimal for maximum annual energy generation in NSW. East and west-facing panels are also viable — east-facing systems produce more power in the morning (ideal for high morning consumption), and west-facing in the afternoon (better for evening peak tariffs and pre-charging batteries). ECR uses shading analysis and production modelling to determine the optimal panel orientation and layout for your specific roof.

Studies consistently show that solar panels increase residential property values in Australia, with typical increases of $0.95–$1.50 per dollar of annual energy savings. A 10kW system saving $2,000/yr could add $19,000–$30,000 to your property's value — in addition to the direct bill savings. Premium brands like Trina Solar and AIKO are increasingly recognised by buyers and valuers as quality differentiators.
