Tier-1 Solar Panels
Trina Solar as standard — a Tier-1 manufacturer with a 25-year product and performance warranty. Panel count and layout are set by your roof and your actual usage, not a package number.
Sungrow SH Hybrid Inverter
Single-phase SH-RS (3–10 kW) or three-phase SH-RT (5–10 kW). Handles solar, battery charging and backup in one wall-mounted unit, IP65 rated for outdoor mounting.
SBR or SBH Battery
Modular LFP storage that DC-couples straight to the inverter. Start at 6.4 kWh and stack upward — no conversion losses, no second cabinet, no extra app.
iSolarCloud Monitoring
Free for the life of the system. Live solar, battery, grid and household consumption on your phone, plus remote diagnostics so ECR can often resolve an issue without a site visit.
Backup is included in the design, not sold as an extra. The SH-series switches to battery power fast enough that lights, fridge, Wi-Fi and nominated power points simply stay on. On the larger single-phase models a built-in 63 A bypass makes whole-home backup possible where the switchboard and battery size allow it — we confirm that on site before quoting.

Room To Scale, Without Starting Again
Bigger homes and small commercial sites outgrow a single-phase build quickly — ducted air-conditioning, a pool, a workshop, one or two EVs on charge overnight. Sungrow's three-phase range is designed for exactly that: more inverter output, higher-current storage, and batteries that keep stacking as the load grows.

Most NSW homes are single-phase and land on the SH-RS. Homes with ducted air-conditioning, a pool or a workshop are often three-phase and suit the SH-RT. We check your switchboard and meter before quoting, so you don't have to guess.

SBR or SBH — Which Sungrow Battery Suits Your Home?
Both are lithium iron phosphate, both are modular, both are DC-coupled to the Sungrow inverter and both carry a 10-year warranty to 70% retained capacity. The difference is architecture: the SBR is low-voltage and the everyday choice; the SBH is high-voltage, moves more power, and scales far further.

Both batteries pair only with Sungrow SH-series hybrid inverters — an SG-series string inverter cannot take a battery. If you already have solar, we'll tell you which path is cheaper before you commit.

The Everyday Family Home
Single-phase, 6.6–10 kW of panels, an SBR sized to cover the evening peak and overnight base load. The configuration we quote most often, and the one with the shortest payback.
Ducted Air-Con & Pool Homes
Three-phase supply, heavy summer load and a real need for capacity. SH-RT plus an SBH stack handles the draw without the battery flattening by 9pm.
Charging a Car At Home
An EV roughly doubles a household's electricity use. Oversized solar plus a larger SBH means the car charges from your own generation instead of your retailer's peak rate.

Sungrow Installer Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle & the Hunter
ECR installs with our own licensed electricians — no subcontractors — from our base at Somersby. Where you are changes more than the drive: your network operator sets the export limit, and the local housing stock decides how much switchboard work a battery needs. That is priced into the quote before you see it, not discovered on install day.
Sydney
The whole basin, across two network operators — Ausgrid through the north, east and inner suburbs, and Endeavour Energy across the west and south-west including Penrith, Blacktown, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Camden and Oran Park. Export limits and approval conditions differ between the two, and we handle that application either way.
Central Coast
Gosford, Wyong, Terrigal, Erina, Woy Woy, Somersby and the surrounding coast. Salt air is the real design constraint here — marine-grade fixings and careful enclosure placement matter, and older Coast housing stock often needs the switchboard brought up to standard before a battery goes on.
Newcastle & Lake Macquarie
Two very different jobs in one city. Federation homes through Merewether, Hamilton and Cooks Hill have brittle terracotta that needs a careful roofer's touch; the newer Colorbond estates around Cardiff, Glendale and Warners Bay are straightforward on the roof but often constrained at the switchboard.
Maitland & the Hunter Valley
Bigger blocks, roughly double the consumption of a coastal home, three-phase supply far more common, and genuine outage exposure on rural feeders. It is the region where a larger SBH stack and real whole-home backup stop being a luxury and start being the reason people call.
